The real radiance of a company comes about when employees, leaders, as well as customers and other stakeholders all feel that they are in the right place and are making a difference – for themselves and for the world. And that is the "magic" force that binds suitable employees with the company and attracts new ones.

How attractive are you as an employer?


When I am dealing in particular with consultancies of 20-30 employees, but also with medium-sized companies, this question becomes increasingly important: how my customers present themselves as employers, how they relate and act to ensure that they hold on to their good employees and attract the right new employees.

The demands of the successful as well as the younger generations are greater than ever. Fewer and fewer professionals and managers are willing to let go of their health, their satisfying lifestyle or involvement. They want something in return: meaning, fulfillment, work/life balance as well as personal growth. If these components are really covered, the salary plays for many just a minor role.

Applicants can quickly see through empty promises, unproven corporate values and positions which lead to burnout. Via Facebook, LinkedIn or XING, a few employees are quickly questioned about their experiences in the company – and the truth is out. What is more, good people are also rapidly lured to other companies by headhunters or personal acquaintances.

My personal message and my wish for you is that


  • your company discovers its unique role and fulfills its specific corporate purpose.
  • you put your identity as a company out there and expand it so that at each and every level you radiate what you stand for as a company and employer, in other words: you become a magnet for really good and really suitable employees.
  • your company grows continuously, organically and in good health; and it evolves, so that it is always ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
  • your employees find their healthy place where they feel committed to their job as they grasp its meaning and the added value – for themselves, their company and the world.
  • your employees are both challenged and promoted along their individual (personal development) paths; they become ambassadors of your company, either as current or as former employees.
